| Cameron on Maxim’s Hot 100 list |
Posted by Filip on May 14, 2008 No Comments »
The annual list of Maxim magazine’s Hot 100 women has been revealed, and Cameron came in at #26. Model Marisa Miller was named The hottest woman, with Scarlett Johansson and Jessica Biel rounding up the top 3. Read what Maxim had to say about Cami in the extract below.
26. Cameron Diaz
Much has been made about how the What Happens in Vegas star is just one of the guys in real life, but really, when was the last time you’d hack off a limb to take a shower with “one of the guys”? According to Cameron, her upringing may be the root of this tomboyish rep. “I grew up with a lot of boys,” she explains. “I probably have a lot of testosterone for a woman.” Cameron, we sincerely doubt that.

| On the cover of British Cosmopolitan! |
Posted by Filip on May 14, 2008 No Comments »
Cameron currently graces the cover of the June issue of UK Cosmopolitan with the headline “Cameron’s Secrets - Men, Love and Her One Regret”. The magazine features a brand new photoshoot (also used in some of the magazines previously mentioned) as well as a new interview. Stay tuned to CameronFan.com as scans are coming very soon! Read some outtakes from the interview below.
Cameron Diaz “had to have work on her nose” after a 2005 surfing accident but, she tells the U.K. Cosmopolitan in its June issue: “I’d never do anything else. I think beauty comes from the inside.” She continues “I feel I get better with age … I look at pictures of myself when I was 21 and think, ‘Wow, I didn’t look so bad.’ But I take more care of myself now, so in a way I feel like I look better than I did then …. I feel stronger and more confident.”
To her chagrin, she’s still battling the occasional breakout, though. “Sometimes I’ll look in the mirror and be like, ‘Damn, where did that that come from?’ Seriously! I’m 35 years old. When is this going to stop?!”
Diaz, whose exes include Justin Timberlake, also isn’t sure marriage lies in her future. “There are a lot of ways to approach commitment and relationships – and marriage is just one of them,” she told the magazine. “I think partnerships are a wonderful thing in whatever form they take, and I definitely want that in my life, whether or not it’s in the traditional sense.”

| Cameron joins Pangea Day |
Posted by Filip on May 10, 2008 1 Comment »
Cameron Diaz will be joining fellow actresses Meg Ryan and Goldie Hawn in Los Angeles on Saturday (tonight) to take part in Pangea Day, a film festival intended to promote unity and tolerance by shedding light on different cultures and the issues endemic to particular spots around the globe.
“We all share the same planet and we only have one of ‘em, and the more that we know about each other and the more that we tell each other about ourselves, the more liknesses we see that we have,” Diaz says in a PSA promoting the event. “Storytelling is age-old, something we’ve done since the beginning of man—it’s how we relate to each other…Because we are a global tribe, that storytelling must expand to be inclusive to everyone.”
Watch the film festival live at PangeaDay.org, and see the public service announcement from Cameron on YouTube!
