First of all, for all the fans that come here looking for candids - you won’t find them. Why? The CameronFan.com staff respects Cameron’s will to get some privacy when not attending events or filming a movie. The reason why we add candids from “on the set” of the movies is because she knows she will get her picture taken there and seems fine with it. After all, it is her job. But since she’s stated several times that she want the possibility to live a “normal life” (compared to other celebrities), I think it’s only fair that we give her a shot at just that. So, on with the quick news-wrap.
Famous movie mogul Harvey Weinstein married British designer Georgina Chapman at his waterfront Connecticut estate Saturday (December 15) night before a star-studded crowd that included Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony, Cameron Diaz, Renée Zellweger and Naomi Watts.
Several tabloids are writing about “Jessica Biel’s frustration” over the chance that Cameron and Justin Timberlake are getting back together again. Probably won’t happen. They might be sending text messages to eachother (like the gossip magazines wrote) but Justin has reportedly also said that he’s with Jessica now and is happy with her, and I don’t think Cameron has any problems with that at all.

Holy the irony in this post. You claim to respect her privacy yet you post two articles that have nothing to do with her acting career the latter being complete tabloid fodder. Creating an entire website on the internet the most invasive medium around says it all so please lets all get off of our high horses.
oh and im sure making money with advertisements is true celebrity fandom? oh wait you need to ‘pay bills’ right.

MyMarsha: First of all, I only posted the first article to fill the request for a visitor that wrote to me about it. And the second article I only wrote to set the records straight because I’ve gotten quite a few mails asking about the situation between Justin/Cameron/Jessica.
And last but not least, I don’t make any profit at all off of this site. I’m hosted by a hosting company which requires ads on their hosted sites.

Not to start an argument but running a fansite does not generate any income - the ads are for the host (http://www.fan-sites.org/) in order to pay the server bills - we (who run fansites) don’t make any money, in fact it gets spent on buying magazines on ebay/in shops and renting/buying dvds.
As for the news post, it’s just a round-up of what internet sites have been posting - it does not mean that Filip is invading Cam’s privacy and he has stated that he doesn’t believe the gossip - read it carefully.

Wow, slow down there, MyMarsha honey. You might want to look up the word ‘irony’ before using it in the wrong context. The second news tidbit is tabloid fodder, I grant you, but hardly invasive, and the first news article certainly isn’t.
Speaking of invasive, I, personally, would like to object to your notion of fan sites as being “the most invasive medium around”; you could not be further from the truth. In fact, I think fan sites are one of the most non-invasive ways of following up on your favorite celebrity, and indeed, many celebrities have even chosen to endorse, publicly or otherwise, their fan sites of choice, of which e.g. LovelyLivTyler.com is a prime example; although not an official fan site, Liv has often expressed her love for the site and its visitors and has said she more than often visits it. There are more examples. Heck, even many official celebrity sites of today started off as being unofficial fan sites. If anything, I would call the tabloid industry the most invasive industry of all.
I think there is an easily distinguishable line between following up on someone and stalking him/her, and I think it’s worth to make a point of this. Many fans visit fan sites for information; they want to know more about their (newly found) favorite celebrity and/or want to follow up on her life and career. After all, without us, the movie-going fans, Hollywood would be an industry with much fewer billions of dollars in circulation, and fan sites are an excellent medium for spreading the word on new and upcoming work.
Celebrities go to events to be photographed, to be noticed, to stay in the limelight. They make films for a living, to be seen, to entertain their fans, to - again - stay in the limelight. Fan sites encourage this by posting news regarding past and present projects, the latest event photos, behind the scenes-footage from new films, and so on and so forth. Celebrities do not, however, go to a Beverly Hills grocery store to be photographed, nor do they take a piss at a local gas station to stay in the limelight. Paparazzi-footage of celebrities in their everyday life IS an invasion of privacy, and should not be encouraged, and I think any fan site owner who is able to resist posting candids despite pressure from some who wish these photos to be put into distribution, should be commended. Not many can say the same.
Posting the occasional gossip is harmless. Setting the record straight is harmless. Informing fans of a change in e.g. marital status or a new family member is harmless. Posting every single gossip article and paparazzi photo, however, isn’t harmless. It’s irritating, it’s invasive, and with many celebrities opposing the tabloid culture of today, it is not in accordance with the definition of being a FAN. So the next time you want to pin point a contradiction in terms, do it _after_ you’ve a) read the post in full, b) with a dictionary in your hands.
As for supposedly making profit, I could go into this, but I shan’t, since many here have already pointed the obvious regarding being hosted at Fan-Sites.org, and I fear if I make this novel of a comment any longer WP will cut it off mid-way. Conclusion: Doing some research before making possibly unwarranted claims won’t bite you.

okay your comments were totally uncalled for and very rude. i never insulted anyone on a personal level. but thank you for informing me of my incredible amount of stupidity on the internet. it doesn’t make your point more valid. it just shows your a nasty person that doesn’t respect others opinions. and thats a shame. oh and i said the internet is invasive so please re-read before telling me to re-read.
what bothered me was someone trying to say that by taking a certain stance or doing something someone is more of a fan than someone else. that’s absurd, everyone is different and we all like different things. some people really like seeing candid pictures of a celeb without the photoshopping without the designer dressses its a more human look at people who are held at such high regard in our society.
thanks for proving your point and being a complete asshole about it. and what is to research? your telling me that all the money made from the advertisements go back into the site and not a single penny goes for leisure. that would be a big fat lie. i go on internet blogs and ive read about online advertising and google and i can guarantee that fan spaces.org is making money from these websites.

I think Cameron and Jillian Reynolds should hook up. B-cuz cameron there is nothing straight about you girlfriend. I also think you should call Ricki lake about your dark childhood secrets. How ever you’ve come a long way since being Snoop Dogg’s cheerleader at Cal Poly in Long Beach. It was a pleasure working with one of the cast members of your movie The Sweetest Thing, Siena Goines who played Tammy, I’m tentatively working on another movie Hail Mary where the lead is a woman foot ball player, but I don’t think I can afford you, catch you on the rebound, S&M girl, love your friend Nelson.
